Introduction : |

Society for Environmental and Rural Awakening (ERA) is working in Kangra valley region in Himachal Pradesh and is involved in many development programmes with a strong social and political positioning in favor of poor and the marginalized. Mahila Mandal and SHGs are the main groups which were formed and strengthen by the organization. The organization has organized several workshops for the capacity building of Panchayats Pradhan, Ward Members and BDC members. There are about 117 Mahila Mandals and 28 SHGs formed by the organization.
